Here is a break-down of all six Betfred Super League fixtures in Rivals Round Returns (Round 25), with some crucial clashes taking place…
Huddersfield Giants v Leeds Rhinos
It’s a West Yorkshire Derby to kick things off as the Giants host the Rhinos.
The Giants have won their last two Super League matches at the Accu Stadium, but the Rhinos are truly electric at present, having won their last four Super League games in succession by an average margin of 30 points per game.
They’ve also won five of their last seven Super League games against Huddersfield, so are firm favourites in Rivals Round Returns…
Weighted predictions: Giants (8 points), Rhinos (2 points)
Salford Red Devils v Catalans Dragons
The Dragons have won four of their last five Super League games against Salford, but a spirited Red Devils will be aiming to go back-to-back for the first time this season following their incredible win at Warrington last Friday.
Catalans are on a seven-game losing run away from Stade Gilbert Brutus, so this could be a closer contest that perhaps initially anticipated…
Should you play it safe, or will you take a chance with this week’s predictions?
Weighted predictions: Red Devils (8 points), Dragons (2 points)
St Helens v Wigan Warriors
It’s a blockbuster showdown on Friday Night between two of the biggest rivals as the Saints host the Warriors.
Both sides have hit form at exactly the right time as the battle for second place continues.
Champions Wigan have won their last three Super League games against St Helens, and although it’s trademark for the Warriors to perform at their best in big games, they can ill-afford to underestimate their rivals who have won seven of their last eight Super League games at Totally Wicked Stadium.
Whatever the result, we’re in for a sensational showing!
Weighted predictions: Saints (6 points), Warriors (4 points)
Wakefield Trinity v Castleford Tigers
These two neighbours meet again in Rivals Round Returns where Trinity are looking for a trio of victories over the Tigers in 2025. A win will also strengthen their top six chances.
Wakefield have won both of their two Super League meetings with Castleford in 2025 after winning just one of their 20 previous games against them.
And the visitors will be looking to pile more misery on a Cas side who haven’t scored more than six points in any of their last five Super League games.
They have also lost those five by an average margin of 40 points per game.
Although Daryl Powell’s men are clear favourites in Predictor, let’s not forget the drama that unfolded in the first Rivals Round.
It could get tasty!
Weighted predictions: Tigers (8 points), Trinity (2 points)
Leigh Leopards v Warrington Wolves
Leigh have won each of their last three Super League games against Warrington Wolves – a side who have lost five of their last six matches and are low on confidence and morale.
However, these wins have only come by a margin of exactly four points on each occasion.
Can Wire step up for Rivals Round Returns, or will the Leopards bank a very important two points?
Weighted predictions: Wolves (6 points), Leopards (4 points)
Hull KR v Hull FC
Will the Robins get a clean sweep of victories over their cross-city rivals in 2025?
A blood and thunder battle is incoming at Sewell Group Craven Park on Sunday, especially with League Leaders’ Shield and top six dreams on the line.
Expect fireworks and utter brutality in one the biggest Hull Derbies yet.
Hull KR have won their last four Super League games against Hull FC, but will they continue such dominance?
Weighted predictions: Robins (3 points), Hull FC (7 points)
